No one likes to pay taxes but no one has a choice. The two things in life which are certain is that 1) you will die one day and 2) if you do not pay your taxes, the IRS will come looking for you. Not paying taxes is not a trivial offense. The IRS rarely plays games; once they audit and find out that you did not pay taxes, you will be sent a warning to settle.
And always there will be a hefty penalty; and if you still do not pay, rest assured the IRS will place a lien on almost everything you own. For some unknown reason, celebs who make millions still hate to pay the IRS. What these celebs may not know is that there is a branch of the IRS which is dedicated to making sure all celebs pay taxes. Here are some celebs who tried to hide their earnings from the IRS and got busted.
Lindsay Lohan is most famous for doing all things bad. And she also tried to hide her earnings from the IRS. In 2012, she was ordered to pay over $220,000 in unpaid taxes. The good Charlie Sheen helped her out by giving her a cheque for $100K.
2. Iggy Azalea
Iggy Azalea had a booming year in 2014. The rapper had a successful tour but had no idea that the IRS was watching her bank deposits. In 2016, she was hit with a $391K tax lien. While she may scream at her audience during a concert, she was very meek when the IRS threatened her with jail time- she quickly paid up.
3. Bar Refaeli
Bar Refaeli, ex-girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio was making millions as a supermodel but in 2015, she was charged with tax evasion of millions of dollars in Israel. She and her mother were both arrested and asked to pay up the tax money back. She settled very quickly because Israeli jails are not fun.

And when they audited him, they discovered he had a habit of not paying the taxman. So he had to fork out close to half a million dollars for unpaid taxes dating back to 2002.
These are just some people who managed to piss off the IRS and quickly found out that the tax man gets paid first or you go to jail.
